new melodyne

so has anyone used the melodyne with dna editor yet?

i've got a previous version of melodyne and shit is a god send, but the new dna feature looks too good to be true.

yeah it was pushed back a year, but aparently it was finally released late 2009. haven't found a crack for it, there might not be one coming either. if the program does what it says it does, i might shell out the $300 for a legit copy.

hah, something similar happened to me. Got kinda bored/started slacking on beats over the last several months, had to do something different. Couple of friends had open offers to teach me how to play the guitar/bass, finally took them up on it. I am still beyond terrible but the shit's been fun so far. Hopefully it'll make getting my ideas out easier.

Anyway you can get the demo for Melodyne on the Celemony web site. Messed with it a bit before my last computer meltdown, got the sense it'll take a while to figure out what you can reliably separate. Will eventually hunt a copy down once I start sampling again heavily.
