Watching Common run through "Resurrection" might be the most boring experience ever. Is there a bigger gay?

LOL @ Slick Rick going through that whole album. That Wu-Tang set will never happen. Those guys probably don't even remember 75% of the lyrics.
I've seen KRS 2-3 times, Common about 10 times (b/c he was on every Chicago bill in the early-to-mid 2000s), and Slick Rick once. KRS-One was and still is one of the greatest live performers. Common and Slick Rick are pretty good as well.

The Wu-Tang shit will consist of 30 people on stage yelling and screaming, but it will be dope.

You should have an Employee unveiling at one of these events (nh)
I'd rather not be beat.

Back to the thread, you make valid points, but the line up looks like a hilarious thread in the making.

Plus I've been seeing Common in those commercials for that movie "JustWright" and they make me physically ill.
That movie looks ungodly awful. Nothing about it is believable. Common could never ball, nobody would ever find him anything but repulsive and it has Queen Latifah in it. PLEASE MAKE IT GO AWAY.

On the other hand, he plays a bitch in the movie so it shouldn't be much of a stretch for him to fulfill that role.

Wasn't Common ranked number one on a HHI top rappers list?

they have the right idea with these guys performing their classic albums, whoever thought of that and got the artists to agree to it was on point imo.

because he's significantly more relevant in 2010 than anyone else on the flyer?

please. snoop is just as irrelevant as anyone else on the flyer. i'm not denying that doggystyle was great, but i feel like snoop is more washed up than anyone else performing this year.

^^^^
it's weird of the huge names, some how Rae so i guess wu is really the most relevant from a rap rap stand point while the lower billed guys are some how kind of more relevent if that makes any sense, but snoop is the bigger personality, snoop will get soccer moms to green light this for their kids even tho hes high all the time and is doing "doggystyle" I can see why he's top billed.
NICE CAT!

i think those of you asking why snoop is top billing are forgetting that this rock the bells is an event spawned in southern california.

snoop is jesus out here. hearing doggystyle performed in it's entirety is also the only thing that makes me want to buy tickets now.

edit: how could you call him washed up when he is the only act on the bill that still consistently hits the billboard charts? (don't get me wrong, i think his music has fallen off hard, but washed up? not the proper term imo).

Because there's no good reason because Snoop Dogg is a faggot hack who only appeals to aging potheads, trailer trash, and Beverly Hills wiggers?

Because he's still entertaining even when message board dickheads think their jokes are funny, right?
