Is he selling these photos or does he have enough money for this to be a hobby? Either answer is equally surprising. The idea of Jeru at a regular job is really hard for me to imagine as is the idea of even the most ardent Jeru fan copping any of these images.

I guess I understand why I don't really see any of you clowns over there. *shaking head*

You guys do know that Rick Ross, Drake, Tony Yayo, Lil "faggit" Wayne, Waka Flocka and all that isn't Hiphop, right? Yet you post on a Hiphop message board. Weird.
anyone who will download a Lil B/Waka Flocka mixtape over this new Jeru album does not deserve your criticism, good sir. don't even waste your time trying to make sense of it.

I will check for certain NYC hip hop creators until the day that I die.

these are many of them.

Jeru's next album should be decent, peace

Police my own? I didn't know I had a contingent on this site. You are talking to someone who thinks Gangstarr was overrated and never really liked Pete Rock.
You got borkpacker sympathies. They probably look up to you. Show them the way.
I remember when you were ethering anyone who had "lil' in their name and decrying any new rap music. Now you flipped on some Eldridge-Cleaver-in-Algeria and are all overboard the other direction. Which is fine, do you, I don't have a dog in the race either way.

I was just asking if Jeru's later work sucked because of bad beats or if he has actually fallen off greatly as a rapper. What would you have me do, burn my copy of Wrath of the Math, download every Waka Flocka mixtape and denounce DJ Premier on some Stalinist purge type shit?

You protest, like too much, and you're never funny.

Also, do some more research, I've been railing against purists since I've been posting here, and I'm not overboard, I'm pretty specific with my complaints.

Your first point here is not really debatable.

As to your second point, all of you have been on this board a lot longer than me and so you may be right. I am only speaking on what I have observed in my limited time here. I also never claimed that your complaints were not specific or even well-founded. You just seem to have a pretty inflexible orthodoxy going on at times, especially if you are going to paint anyone who expresses the most minimal of interests in Jeru's current work with one broad brush.

It just seems ridiculous to claim that I am somehow a "purist" or a "savior", when in the not-so-distant past you mocked me for claiming that there was good rap music being made by newjacks.

Do you though, I aint mad 'atcha

haha Good shit. I will check for certain people til the die as well. And I agree about them clowns not deserving my criticism, but at the same time, I still like talkin some shit. Also, I think just about anyone who downloads or buys them kinda mixtapes or albums from those people are clowns to begin with. Even worse if they actually think that shit is Hiphop.

I agree. Overseas it's easy to be a bork, it's practically accepted and part of some bork sub-culture. Here I don't know why or how people become borks but they often end up even crazier and stand out more because of it.

Just wait for either Popeye Or Drizzle to drop their TLC "Scrubs" parody that explains everything.
