2Pac, hope you are still alive and if you aren't that's fine too. You don't even have to come back, we understand why you didn't come back because of what's happening in the world right now. Where ever you are, even if that's heaven, you just be happy where you are. No one's ever going to replace your spot. You taught me too many things in life and taught me how to appreciate life as it is. Keep ya head up.

That chronic 2000 comp was dope. Who was the white dude who ripped off / dissed eminem? Milkbone? That song was ROFL.

Damn, I'd never seen that live performance at The Source Awards before, and I was like "WTF is Pac rapping over...???!!!"... Shit was produced by LG Experience, whose brother Easy Mo Bee worked closely with Pac back then, so I guess it all makes sense :

I understand the masses' reverence for his legacy, but the idea of his poetry, which is on par with the collages of 16 year old girls as far as corny imagery & melancholy dreck goes, being the focal point of a college course is sad, sad shit.

I donג€™t know who you are or how the fuck you would even have that info, I didnג€™t think anybody except Mobb knew about that but yeah, after 2Pac dissed Mobb Deep I produced and wrote a really disturbing interlude going in on Pac pretty hard, it was going to be after the 4th or 5th song on the Hell On Earth album but after Pac passed the skit was no longer funny, it was just bad taste.

Homosexual male, so he doesn't get "pussy". :gyeah:

on a serious tip. Even though he may have had a negative affect on hip-hop. He still made some of the most emotional tracks in hip-hop history.

I don't enjoy a lot of his music. My opinion and my music aren't the same thing. If you couldn't form opinions about shit you ain't the most successful at a massive percentage of us wouldn't be able to discuss politics, sports, or pornography.

To extrapolate, I can't endorse the actions or opinions of everyone I consider an amazing artist. If so, I'd advocate taking groupies back to the hotel for a yawn inducing session of group bible reading sessions a la Prince. Or taping the rape of your hairdresser cuz she stole some scrill from you like Mystikal.

On the other end of the spectrum: You don't appreciate my music or artistic input. I don't care. Yeah I make music, but according to you, that renders my opinion worthless. Here on a message board.

I admire Pac for defending civil liberties when he shot those racist off duty cops, for Bishop in Juice, for being a radical in a deceptively conservative community, but don't listen to much more than "Str8 Ballin" & "I Get Around".

Don't defend yourself to these faggots 2pacs lyrics are fucking terrible, he was all charisma, production, and flash the Michael Bay of Rap. Biggie was, is and always will be a bazillion times more important to hip hop than fucking Pac was.

but you must think your lyrics are better than 2pac's or else you wouldn't waste time recording them. or you could just fall back and admit most of his output pre getting popped isn't 16 year old girl status...

Its not about "better" lyrics. Its not about my lyrics versus their lyrics. I listen to Group Home all the time and do it without kicking myself because they are on those Primo beats and I'm not. The difference is I can listen to Group Home and not become distracted by the somewhat rudimentary lyrics and rhyme schemes. Pac becomes a distraction. It bugs me. I can't listen to that Hennessy/enemy shit over and over again.

I'm not in some tiny minority when I suggest Pac was often over the top, and, despite his prodigious output, often lyrically lazy/repetitive. In fact, many listeners think the same, its even been mentioned in this thread already.
