Twista spits the new 'dead in the middle of little Italy'

http://rapradar.com/2012/02/08/new-musi ... freestyle/

check that second verse, homie.

HOLY FUCK. seriously one of the most insane flows ever put on record.

that's not even double time or triple time. that sounds like the first quadruple time flow i've ever heard.

airtight awesomeness, actually.

yeah, true. that's how i hear it too but i wasn't trying to get too technical cause it's :bork: enough calling them quadruplets, cause that's what he would be spitting with double-double time (which, as you said, is his normal stee)

most heads don't care what they technically are, syllable-wise. they'll just go "yo, that's REALLY fast rappin, yo" and keep on hiffop!in

Impressive in terms of ability- but as to the claim raised in the subject of this thread, hell no. Pun's line is a lot more than just rapping fast. It's the combination of rapping fast AND being just a good, well written line that works well at that speed.

Twista hits some crazy strides on the song "Can You Keep Up" with Busta Rhymes too..i dont even think a finished version of the song exists..i know they go back and forth at the end and Busta is missing for the last 2 parts...they both body it though.

we always known Twista wasn't the best rhyme writer, that's not the issue.

he still gets nuff respect for doing his thing, and doing it well for so long.

if you listen to the verse, it's actually pretty decent, lyrically.

Him and his crew stayed at my hotel when they were in Denver a few weeks ago. Every single room in the entourage ordered chicken wings from room service. One room asked about the beef tenderloin, I told him what it came with (parsnips and something else) and he said "nah man, lemme get the chicken wings". I thought about that Chapelle show epsiode (parsnips reference) and LOL'd.

word word, ha ha. some rappers fit the cliche so comfortably, LOL.

"chicken wings, beer and titties, son. that's all a ninja needs."

I did an interview with Twista a few years ago... but can't find it now.

There's no such thing as quadruple time. It would be impossible. It would just be a buzzing sound.

I know you think rappers have the ability to defy the laws of physics, Mindbender, but trust me-- it can't happen.

That second verse on this Twista "Purple Swag" freestyle, is most certainly, undeniably: triple time. It's mathematics. 123, 123, 123, 123, 123, 123.

Somebody should probably go ahead and mention the homey Alaska in terms of really good fast rappin dudes.

alaska doesn't really hit these rhymin as a sport type speeds though.

which is a plus imo.

I remember that guy tonedeff had a really fast joint over a drum n bass beat that was pretty impressive, but this shit gets annoying quickly.

twista's at his best when he's at a medium pace and switches his flow up while rhyming fast, like Kanye - Slow Jamz. I could listen to that verse any time.

or shit like this

<object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/1zQX7ta_rC8?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/1zQX7ta_rC8?version=3&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
