Nah, cover and tracklist just got posted. The mixtape got pushed back and there's not even a date set yet I don't think. Should be out soon though they say.

:ohsh: Trap Lord and Doris both were disappointments. eXquire is the only new school rapper that has delivered for me so far this year, so an album from these kids is welcomed. Also anticipating that new Danny Brown.

Not to derail the thread but fuck all that, I've been playing both of them joints out.

I am looking forward to more from these kids though. Consistent so far.

their album from earlier in the year was fine but not very memorable. like all the best songs from it were the early leaks and the rest sounded like the good songs but didn't stand out much. but they do have potential so I can see them getting better with time

well, for me, if i'm doing something like cleaning or working out, i'll pop this album on and just let it run its course. no quotable verses stand out to me yet on the album. its just they can flow and rap their asses off. and they got a good ear for beats, i feel.

Not feeling this at all right now. It might grow on me if I let it :pause: but nah, when I first heard them I did not think to myself, "Know what this needs? More 'take your bitch' raps and trap drums." The production's cool, but it doesn't seem conducive to seamlessly traded verses heavy on occultish references. I'm not even trying to be on some little boxes shit like oh they make '90s east coast shit, they can't rap over trap beats, but there's a reason "Melody of the Free" and "N.A.S.A." sound better than everything else on here.

Respect due for trying to keep themselves from getting pigeonholed into one particular sound/style, but this just aint as good as their last IMO.

Yeah, some of this a bit much for what they've done before. Lyrically, they do the damn thing. Those beats on the first project really fir their style the best. "Melody Of The Free", "Midnight Augusto", and "N.A.S.A" ended out the project right though.
