I don't mind it being short and sweet if they output is this steady. El-p puts out a record like every five years, so if they put annual or semi-annual 35 minute albums, I'm satisfied.

Some (most?) of the best albums of all-time are 10 tracks or less, maybe 12 max. Most albums with more are loaded with filler and/or worthless skits and BS.

Zach de la Rocha has been confirmed to be working with El and Mike on RTJ2. Yak Ballz, Travis Barker and Despot have also been in the studio.

Remember when el-p and Zach de la Rocha were rumored to be working on an album together for like 4 years?

Remember when we had a thread questioning whether he was among the greatest MCs of all time?

If they're going to record in Nocando's studio, they really should get him on a damn track.

I think Mike has put out at least 3 SOLO projects since El-P had a label. Hell, El-P himself has put out at least 3 projects with 3 different labels since the last time he ran a label.

Mike has a basketball career to think about too:

The other thing that I find silly about Malek's comment is that Mike and El-P seem be working together because they really clearly like doing it. The whole fan attitude of "DON'T MAKE WHAT YOU LIKE, MAKE WHAT I WANT" is just asking for crap.

i'm all for run the jooz, clearly they had a lot of fun making it. but el's verses need to stay on the cutting room floor.

duno much about de la rocha but i associate him with political shit. which mike is obv down with. let em all have fun in the studio but leave the vocals to the professionals please.
