Throw the acapella over 'Lapdance' by NERD and its a wrap.
word it did bang in the club, and christina was at her sexiest at that point..
however, redman was laughably out of place on that song

Not Rakim, not Kane, not G Rap, not L, not Pun, not Pac, not Nas, not Biggie, not any emcee I could see you naming. The ones before him set the stone and the only emcee that comes close is G, but ultimately Redman was far and away the most lyrical and creative.
Wow. I doubt even Noble himself would agree with this.

I'm pretty sure both Red and Tame would agree with this. Possibly even Treach. I've heard Tame say it himself out of his own mouth. Red I would imagine has to be on earth long enough to realize he is the nicest, and Treach while being top 10 undoubtedly would have to agree.
EDIT: Oh and Tame is top 10 of all time as well.

Yes Treach is top 10, no question. One of the most underrated emcees of all time. Not to be a dick my brother, but we are from two different worlds. I wouldn't be caught dead with Gucci anywhere near me, and I know Lil Wayne is wack. I don't exactly expect us to see eye to eye. Respect.

Off-Topic: Tame top 10? I am HUGE Tame One fan and cannot agree with this. His solo records have been a terrible representation of him as an emcee sans "When Rappers Attack".
Also, I agree that Treach is underrated, but top 10?
Off-off topic: Ive always wondered why Red & Tame didnt collab more.

I hear this everywhere about Tame and disagree hugely. I feel all of his solo work aside from one LP has been near perfect. Few can hang with Tame on the mic. Again I don't expect most to agree with me but all three are no doubt in my top ten, and I have no respect for anybody that puts Biggie on that list. Or Pac, as neither are true lyricists imo.

I have always thought Jersey had the nicest emcees. Not as many nice ones, but the nicest ones. They all have the same element of funk in their rhyming, and a similar style. None of them bit New York rappers and they all owe a great deal to George Clinton and Funkadelic. I just am a sucker for their ability to bring the cosmic slop into their rap. From Tame, to Tone, to Treach, to Reggie, to Young Zee, to Pacewon, they all have a rare element of creativity and originality. Hate to further put myself in the category of being an "ACTHEPD on crack" but their style has always been the "freshest"...

Nas
and he's the only one I feel bad about, but I can't cosign his brutal beat selection, I also consider him to be more of a poet along the lines of a 2pac than an emcee like Pharoahe Monch
