i was a huge fan of dre in the 90s but in retrospect he seems like a pretty awful person.

Granted the production values weren't all that impressive, but as far as being an accurate representation of a rapper on the come up it is up there.

Because of the poor production values I'd put Killa Season only slightly above Straight Outta Compton.

If Cam'ron rebooted Killa Season with a different director with a proven track record IMO it would take the crown as greatest hip hop movie of all time.

I haven't seen it but if the wardrobe is not on point that's a 5 point deficit on a 10 point scale. This is rap after all. People were getting shot for their nikes and strongarmed for their starter jackets back then. The shit is important. You got Cube at the helm and Cle bone on g-status detail but you can't get the gear right, fuckoittahere. then again their aren't any real good hiphop movies.
