Thank you. I always stay current with all the latest new HipHop vinyl & cd releases along with keepin up with all the limited vinyl releases from labels like Chopped Herring, Dope Folks, Heavy Jewelz, etc. It ain't always easy, but when you love (and live) HipHop Music & Culture like I have since '88 or so, you always find a way...

Btw, thank you to whoever unlocked this thread. Jason? I appreciate it! A couple of these mixes have even been featured on Egotripland and Okayplayer. The first mix I posted, the MIMS mix, is an exclusive mix I made for the Music Is My Sanctuary blog based out of Montreal, Canada. Not sure when they plan on featuring it as they haven't told me. *shrugs*

Lastly, after a brief hiatus (had a kid), I made my return to the radio airwaves in July of 2014 and brought a crate of all HipHop (mostly) vinyl releases from the last few years, 2012-2014. Enjoy...

funny thing of you to use audiomack. the whole streaming hip hop mixtape site ideology wasn't even started by "real heads". they were too busy buying vinyl and cassettes scoffing at the idea of an mp3, better yet a free stream.

this always results in great music that never appears contrived or derivative.

BITING a beatmaker whose style hit its peak over 20 years ago is NOT fresh and NOT HIPHOP

how many meals do you eat a day?

Man STFU. You don't even know what I'm talkin about. I guarantee you're another one who's dead asleep. Are you even familiar with Figub? Nope. If you were you might get what I meant, which is Figub's beats are seriously dope in a similar fashion to how Pete's were and Figub is also amazing with the cuts & scratches, just like Pete was/is. Their beats sound nothing alike. Try harder. FOH!!

okay, it's clear you're new to hiphop so I will school you... hiphop is the art of being FRESH and eating 1-2 meals a day. It's not about trying to sound like rappers or beatmakers from the 90s. That is not hiphop. That is not fresh. It is the opposite of fresh. It is stale.

I liked that too, it's funny to me that the wickster thinks he gets to decide what is and isn't "real" hip hop.

Sorry, HipHop. One word, two capital letters.

I'm not sayin I get to decide anything, but when you are HipHop you kinda just know what is and isn't HipHop. Clearly yoar ass doesn't know or understand and never will. The same can be said about 90-95% or more of all people posting on HipHop forums. It is what it is...
