Re: Pick your favorite rapper
tough between 3K and GFK, gave it to 3K
Re: Pick your favorite rapper
The correct answer here is probably Ghost, but I've been on a DOOM kick lately, so going with him.
Could see a case for Scarface as well. Likely would have all three in my top 15 or so. Pos, Andre, and Monch all honorable mentions, but don't listen to them as much these days

Scarface........then Ghostface!
And if I may, I'd like to give an honorable mention to A-Plus from Wreckx n Effect, I would have chose him, had he been on the list

Ghostface, (and Black Thought for a close second). Who the fuck picked Kendrick Lamar? Show yourself!
No more Sasso. Now everybody call me Ron!
Re: Pick your favorite rapper
it's between Andre and pharoahe. gotta say Andre. I listen to more outkast than anybody else really but monch is constantly in the rotation

I didn't read this as favorite all time, just favorite right now. And he's the only rapper on that list relevant in 2017 imo. I love every rapper on the list, but there's only one I'm still geeked to hear new shit from.

That's interesting because I find him to be completely irrelevant.

you not liking someone considered to be the best rapper around who consistently goes platinum is not what irrelevant means.ScholarWenis wrote:I do, and you couldn't pay to me listen to shit like that.

You're marginalizing the word irrelevant. Something can be relevant in pop culture and still be completely irrelevant to somebody individually. Mf doom was never relevant in the marginalized definition you're giving relevancy but now he is irrelevant to me, as I don't check for his music anymore. While Kendrick may be relevant to pop culture he is irrelevant in my day to day life.

Re: Pick your favorite rapper
Very difficult poll. Have to go with Ghost, but Face, 3K, Pos and Thought are definite favorites. Love the whole list but guys like Doom, Common, Mos, Kendrick are not favorites on the level of a bunch of others.
Ghost is just another level for me, though.

Every rapper should be irrelevant in your day to day life you weirdo. You're not mindbender bro. MB may not wear polo, he doesn't wear fake polo.gusty wingers wrote:You're marginalizing the word irrelevant. 1. Pharoahe Monch
2. Posdnuos
3. Common Sense
4. Zev Love X
5. Andre
The cut off point for me is like 97/98. I never really got into MF Doom, although the beats are outstanding.
