Been following this SC account since the days when Ugly Mane was dropping secret tracks via an anonymous user acct. It was like one of two accounts he followed, or one of his handful of followers -- something like that. Sounded like Ugly and same font on the album art, but under a different name, Othasyde. at least otha side is still going for memphis rap / trap beats. ugly mane seems far removed from that now.

I'm struggling with releasing bedwetter. I look at it less like an album and more like a sonic document of my life at this exact moment. a conveniently placed microphone and finger on a record button. I don't want to be misconstrued as sensationalizing mental illness, disassociation, trauma. I don't want look at reviews of how "dope" it is, or how this one song sounded like some fool I'm not even familiar with. I can't get help, bottom line. I've tried. I can't get appointments, the emergency hospital discharged me cuz I "didn't want to kill myself or anybody else". I'm thankful for the people I have around me that are trying to help. I don't know where I'd be with out that support but I feel like all I can do to remain positive is record. At least create something. It's exercise. It's a walk around the block. It's getting out of bed. Hip hop, to me, IS about keeping it real. Rap is supposed to be reality. my reality is fucked. If you look at everything post MTI that's what I've done. I've attempted to shed this unwanted understanding of what this project was and thru the platform and audience I have, attempt to explain what it could be. I'm weary to release this project as a whole. I will because maybe at the least I won't feel as alone or some people that hear it will feel less alone but as some who values and even fights for his privacy at the expense of himself. This record is difficult. There's a lot of songs. Im probably gonna break them into chapters or something. Idk.
