If you don't want to connect to music why bother listening music at all? I get that people really get rubbed the wrong way by Kanye but that's a seriously asinine blanket statement to make in order to further your argument that Kanye sucks.

Groundbreaking. You know he's still pissed Wu Tang came up with that "only 1 copy" idea first though.

It was like a one night stand with this album. I still think it's pretty dope for the most part, but I haven't really listened much after the first week of bumping it. Don't think I care to listen to it all that much again either. Anyone else feel this shit was mad disposable?

It's definitely not as cohesive as any of his last albums. I like the majority of it, but it still comes across as bloated. I think it would have benefitted from cutting it down to 45~ minutes and some better sequencing

Like most of his releases, I find myself going back to 4 or 5 songs often but the rest just kinda fades away after a few listens.

The chopped and screwed version I posted up top (which is fucking fantastic BTW) reorders the sequence brilliantly IMO.

If you're planning to be fucked up, again, I can't recommend the C&S highly enough.

Streaming wars aside, Tidal also finally released numbers for Kanye West's The Life of Pablo streams for the first time, after West requested the service withhold the numbers when the album first became available in February. According to Tidal, Pablo surpassed 250 million streams in its first 10 days of release. Pablo, which West previously said would only ever exist on Tidal, has been going through some changes in real time of late as the artist updates certain tracks, and just yesterday made the single "Famous," featuring Rihanna, available on both Apple Music and Spotify, ending his Tidal-only crusade.

Jay Z Says Firm That Sold Him Tidal Inflated Subscriber Numbers

Jay Z is showing signs of buyer’s remorse.

A year after buying struggling music-streaming service Tidal in a $56 million deal, the hip hop mogul is going after the previous owners for compensation. Tidal sent a letter to Schibsted ASA, a Norwegian media company, accusing the seller of overstating subscriber numbers at the time of the deal.

“It became clear after taking control of Tidal and conducting our own audit that the total number of subscribers was actually well below the 540,000 reported to us by the prior owners,” Tidal said in an e-mailed statement. “As a result, we have now served legal notice to parties involved in the sale.”

Who the fuck spends $56 million on a company and then audits it afterwards? You do all that shit first to make sure you know what you're buying.

Kanye West's "The Life of Pablo" is finally ready to chart, and it will reportedly become the first album to ever go No. 1 off streams alone.

At the beginning of the month, Kanye Westfinally made The Life of Pablo available on Spotify and Apple Music, as the album had previously remained exclusively on Tidal and Kanye's own website since its February 14 release. The decision came after Kanye had said he would never put The Life of Pablo on Apple, promising that it would forever remain exclusive to Tidal. In moving the album to Apple Music and Spotify, however, The Life of Pablo is now eligible to be listed on the charts, and according to HDD, Kanye's seventh studio album is set to debut at No. 1, making it the first album ever to attain the top spot off streaming numbers alone.
