Anyway, not an album of the year contender or anything

Fuck it, I'll call it that.

This was not a blockbuster year enough to where this couldn't be considered a top release.

Game has been rapping rather well this year, add great production and consistent theme throughout and this is a pretty strong release. Some songs like "Can't Get Right" or "Hallelujah" run a little too gospel for my liking but I''ll forgive that misstep being that I can swap them out for the Sunday Service releases if I were so inclined.

I enjoyed a lot of Cali Republic, the 40 Glocc shenanigans, great interviews, and a well executed mainstream rap album. I'll throw him a couple dollars for this.

my buddy really likes this album and I brought up the flow jacking, he says "it just shows he can do a lot of diff flows."

funny thing is the two solo tracks are the best songs on the album. i really dig the nas flow he does on "heaven's arms." it doesn't even sound like a song nas would make though. it sounds risky but i'd like to hear a game album that's not feature heavy.

This thing is growing on me. Ill give Game props for sticking to a theme for the duration. Clumsy most of the way, but I like the fact that he tried to execute it. Production is really good. I added "Holy Water" to my folder and it is probably my favorite on the album.

I probably would've shelled out for the CD if Holy Water and HVN4AGNGSTA were on there.
