Too many bangerz on this, Tray Lee really was on some other shit with that skitzo multiple personality emceeing shit, and the joint he did with BIG is constantly overlooked, yet BIG's verse from that song has been slutted out to no end...

TMR's voice could be annoying, but when he was rappin in the D-Dot persona shit was dope (he was doing the Quasimoto shit b4 Madlib even was on the scene). The street single You're All Alone is a personal fave, espcially with the Havoc sample on the Hook. The single was dope cause it came on clear red vinyl. This album also feature some of my favorite early Kanye Production. This album pretty much help Kanye And 50 get out there

I really wish more (rare) albums were uploaded here. I'm a new hiphop head and I've possibly heard of some artists/albums, most of this shit is new to me. Like Scaramanga, I've heard of the name but I've never heard one of his tracks.

Any link to some website/blog that uploades this kind of shit?

Yeah, I think it's called the T.R.O.Y. forum. :ironmike:

Krown Rulers - Paper Chase
JVC Force - Doin' Damage
Low Profile - We're In This Together
Downtown Science - Downtown Science
Funkytown Pros - Reachin' A Level Of Assassination
Craig G - Now That's More Like It (CD w/ 3 bonus tracks)
Hijack - Horns Of Jericho
Atban Klann - Grass Roots
100X & Greg Osby - 3D Lifestyles
Yaggfu Front - Action Packed Adventure
Dereliks - Change For The Bus Ride Home
Bush Babees - Gravity

I ordinarily wouldn't list Freestyle Fellowship albums, but I suppose Jaz is right; their debut LP is somewhat slept-on.

for being his "problem" album i thought it was raw as fuck. written in the late 90's to be released around the same time... the labels gave him problems so he put it away to update it slightly and put it out in '07. still a solid LP in my eyes.

that black mamba serums definately has its moments, as does poor people's day which was probably unfairly slept on as well. definately not as weird and it has some really dope beats that aren't abstractz. I'll also add the first big juss and orko album while we're talking about weird rap. If jus wasn't so devoted to his post co flow disjointed delivery he'd be talked about a lot more.

If I'm not mistaken, this might've been one of the last local artists 9th Wonder was working with. I remember on hiphopsite.com they bigged this up. Never got to hear the whole thing but one of the tracks 9th did for him was cool.

One of my favorite releases from Rap-A-Lot ever, this was released in the early-to-mid 90's on the Rap-A-Lot West imprint and is one of my all time favorites. One-of-a-kind production, like a cold '94 winter's funk. Really dope.

I thoroughly enjoyed 'Red Gone Wild'...

I was never sure why people didn't like as much as me... It's Red' doing Red' with some great prodcution...

For me, it's not forgotten or slept-on as I give it regular play...

Splash is a less than mediocre emcee. ok beats on the album but boring rhymes and no intesnity or charisma
