Once the tourney ended, he was a little soured about the turn-out, and how we didn't use polls to determine the winner. I'm sure he's forgotten about it by now, but he never really said he wasn't going to give a prize anymore, nothing just ever materialized.

Isn't it? It's weird, because that's why the first draft went in so many different directions, it had uplifting moments, because I didn't want it to be a downer. When I re-wrote it, I wanted to give it more focus, and I think I focused in on the wrong side of it. If I ever do anything else with this one, it would be to turn it around again. So now my days are filled with errant thoughts,
and make-believes of wherewithals.
She can't bear it all, I guess I do deserve some of the blame too,
but my knees are buckling and I don't know how much more I can weight through.
At first glance you were open to that idea of us,
the possibilities seamed endless.
and I honestly have no clue what happened,
so i'll try to hide my insecurities in the oversized sweatshirts
and a friendship. . .
It was over before it could resurface.

photos, and little snippets of news and crafts that made them laugh and feel love/
he lays awake at night thinking of a hug--she trudges through the trenches, tired but relentless/

both cared, yet were careless--nothing was really shared, but a bond formed, was warm when they once were a pair/

and my sister? my parents never did take to her
i remember my cousins couldn't relate to us
i was writing and singing to imitate crooners
but somehow, i'm dumb now, they call me a late bloomer

but i'm convinced our bodies are just brain tumors
cuz it's too easy to slack when dames choose us

we view our aims as useless so we aim to lose it

I don't know, Beh's verse was ok.. didn't go out and call any names. I guess shady or whatever felt it was directed and him and returned with a kind of off beat battle verse. I really feel if you guys just out right battled beh would win since he's a bit more talented and seems to understand that if you're battling somebody you ATTACK them and their faults... not brag about your own strengths. "I'm iller than you" lines don't when battles. They are strictly for bragadacio verses.
