all I know is that if i was at the DOOM show, I would be happy.

real DOOM

[or even better ,-a show that doesn't have an imposter ripping you off]
around 50 minutes of live serious MCing by the proper headliner artist, and a DJ with various variety beats......

nothing else matters-

I dont need dancers and fancy lighting....

a nigga rappin some fuckin rough rhymes in a mic on a stage for an hour
that's what I would have paid $45 for.

the bigger the artist the more expensive the ticket but also it should have a better show, accordingly

DOOM is flavor fudge.....i'd be drunk, in a corner with 3 spliff an' some cigarettes, just rockin' along with the wicked shit that would be pumping out of the concert venue speakers........live east coast while intoxicated at a club-
old west coast for getting pussy at home

if monsta isle would reunite, [like most/all broken up crews of the past]
then niggaz would make some demented miraculous 2999 vibe-types
I got "The Next 1000 Years" and I stopped playing it at song 4, CUZ THE LYRICS WERE TOO GOOD AND E-X-A-C-T-L-Y WHAT I WANTED SOMEONE TO RAP OVER THOSE BEATS LIKE THAT.......god blessed awesome......but can marinate cuz I want to keep the discovery of the first listen of new rhyme lyrics sacred....damn it was good.

why are hardcore NYC niggaz SO good at being musical entertainers with beautiful creative soul music styles and artworks?

keep me lost in the mystery

You pay $50 to see a guy who might not show up.
He show's up, delivers, does an encore, and you still complain.
They were obviously expecting him to not show up, so they got their
little inner tough guys ready to cause canadian chaos.
Throwing bottles from the safe haven of a crowd. Faggots.
You're lucky he even finished the show.

you couldn't be more wrong. i love DOOM, i'm a pretty easy guy to please as far as rap shows go, i never have thrown a bottle at a performer in my life, etc.

but everyone who was unhappy with that show had every right to be.

anyone who was happy with it? peace. i'm glad -SOMEBODY- was.

and it wasn't even a 3 minute song for the "encore". he said 'goodbye' so fast people didn't even know what he was saying.

he delivered something. i still am trying to figure out what you call it.

It seems to me like this Toronto venue/promoter/someone in charge was able to legally force DOOM into performing, so he did, and begrudgingly at that. Seeing the jig was up, he canceled the rest of the tour.

On a technicality, DOOM fulfilled his contract. But it sounds like he delivered a very frustrating, unrehearsed show.

I didn't mean 'you' personally, mb, I meant the crowd in general.
I guess I can't defend the guy. If the show wasn't good, it wasn't good.
It's just that he's fucked up his live performance rep so bad that it
sounds like people are prepared for it.
Can't say I blame them.
I saw him in NY, around when the single with "Change The Beat Up" as a b
side came out, and it was a good show.
No way would I go to see him now, but I really don't go to rap shows
anymore.
