I did and for the most part stayed out of it because of where the thread was going. I like Jay but don't put him on the level some of you guys do. I just think its fucked up to resort to rappers on here being jealous because they were like they don't get the hype. When I dislike another producer and act like I don't understand why other people feel him or her as much as they do, I know 90% of that is rooted in jealousy and self-hatred.

I'm gonna bet most rappers who feel apathy towards Jay Electronica do so for the same reason, whether or not they (can) admit it. After "Exhibit C", there should be no doubt about what he can do, what he brings to rap, and why he appeals to so many people.
