But uhhhhhhh, this is a discussion forum bro... And typically in threads on discussion forums you discuss things. But who knows, I could be wrong? haha

Ok, back to the Hiphop... I'm feelin TRUTHLiVE (from Vallejo). He's not the greatest emcee, but I like the vibe and the music he's makin is dope.
His debut album Patience is produced by Jake One and pretty solid. Here's the lead single from last year 2010, featuring Moe Green...

For you vinyl heads, this song "Ready Set Go" is on a limited 7" single...

You can get the album on CD from Amazon for as cheap as $4 or $5 and I'm sure the album is uploaded on blogs. UGHH is sold out, but you can listen to it... http://www.undergroundhiphop.com/store/ ... C=IMTL01CD

Surprising, right? I typically don't like white emcees/rappers, but this cat is aiight.
Last year he was also on the remix for the DJ Premier produced "Golden Terra Of Rap" by Canibus.

Oops, thanks for the correction. If he is a rich kid, does that change anything about his music? Nope. I try to never think about WHO these emcees/rappers really are outside of Hiphop cuz all that really matters is the music they make.

It just so happens that I don't typically like white rappers... So what? A lot of times it's their voices that I don't like and can't get with. It is what it is...

FOH with all that other wooptie woo shit, post dope music and maybe people will entertain.

Like that Dem One video you posted, I'm interested. Does he have any recent projects worth listening to?

Uhhhhhhhhhhh, not that it really matters, but lots of people like the same shit I do, bro.
It's obvious when my Mix CD's on average generate 400-500 downloads with 7 or 8 of my mixes getting over 1,000 DL's.

But anywayz...

Dem One - Audio Still Life EP (2011)
Image
http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Still-Life- ... B004FX74RK
http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/audio- ... d408584858

Listen/download it on iTunes & Amazon... There are some physical copies available @ Streetlight Records on Bascom Ave. in San Jose,
but I'm not sure if it's being sold anywhere else. Amoeba in SF/Berkeley maybe? Rasputin in Berkeley maybe?

3 songs are produced by Da Hermit, 2 by DJ Hen Boogie, 2 by D-Styles, 1 by ED Main and the EP features Motion Man.

His website is http://www.LifeAfterHipHop.com

Also, Roughneck Jihad of Third Sight is in town and stopped by my KZSU radio show last night to drop off some goodies and kick it.
His new solo album will be out soon as it was just recently finished.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. don't need to know how many downloads you get, seems like you're trying to validate your taste. thanks for the links though.
