It's mastered kind of strangely, the hihats are very tinny, but I can't front on Count ever. Always quality!

actually not a big fan of the choppy stuff, and this one by default. out of all his stuff, i probably like this the least

Count Bass D's album is going on my top 10 hip hop albums of 2008 list.

I've had this shit for a week and I have been playing the fuck out of it.

everytime I call my girl up to kick it I find myself singing "Can We Hang Out Tonight"

I like that its brief too, I just do repeated spins, where as before Count seemed to drag a little and I would not have the endurance to get to some of the better songs in the latter half of the album.

well I just like shit like this.
one of my other favorite records this year was C.R.A.C. the blu and ta'raach project... and everyone on here hated that shit too.

I don't care for Reks' album and that one got a lot of votes for album of the year.
I've noticed more and more from posting here that the shit people jock on :phila: is not my flavor anymore.

I'd rather listen to the new PUTS than pretend that Heltah Skeltah's new record has any songs better than "Lafleur Lafleuh Eskoskha"

I'm just into records that are either real loose in style and presentation, relying on vibes and stuff than calculated sub-standard new york(east coast) rap.

not beefing, just stating.

although I do want to hear that Elzhi.

I thought this was horrible.

It's like the people that like this really get into the pseudo-abstractness of it. There is no redeeming creativity, originality, or anything dope musically on this.

It's like having some hippy black man whisper-rapping in your ear over poorly sampled beats.

His instrumental freebie > this.
