Definitely have faith. Still waiting for all the production credits, but Pharoahe hasn't disappointed yet.

I predict 4 decent-good tracks and 3 keep-able iPad tracks. We'll see...

Desire grown on me and I think it's a pretty damn good album. Much different from his previous stuff, and not as good, but still enjoyable. Hopefully this album has a darker feel. He can definately still spit better than most.

this seems about right.....the ceiling is probably about 7-8 good tracks, there will definitely be some clunker in there though.

shine song wasn't the greatest overall, but his verses were on point

his guest spot on that consequence song was pretty good

the toca tuesdays freestyle i posted a lil while ago was dope

i saw him brought out as a surprise guest at a Jay Electronica show and his 2 min freestyle pretty much upstaged the headliner

so yeah, i got some faith

I still have faith in dude. But I don't expect to be blown away. 3 or 4 good tracks sounds about right. What label is coming out on?? The only reason I ask cuz it can determine what type of beats and what type of songs he is doing. I wish dudes would just make hiphop songs not push some envelope on the listener...

There is zero chance that this will be anything other than complete forgettable garbage.

i posted a fucking sick ass song he made with 9th Wonder here... and it got locked. it's wicked, don't sleep.

Secretly, Idris Elba is better on the mic than like 90% of the people making music right now, straight up.

whoa! that's a little harsh, brah.

it will be good, and possibly show flashes of greatness, but probably won't be the classic we all want.

i didn't think 'Shine' was that great of a song, but that verse Monch did at Tony Touch is seriously one of the illest verses dropped this year

so yes, i have some hope

Let's face it, if you have Jill Scott on your album in 2010 your career is on life support and going fast.

yea but consider the alternative - a female guest spot indicative of a healthy career is nicky minaj

i guess sharon jones could be a reasonable compromise between those extremes?

Come on, guys.

Yes, he's PHAROAHE MONCH. Yes, he was in Organized Konfusion. Yes, he made "Internal Affairs."

But you can't seriously believe that he is capable of making a solid record in 2010. He couldn't make one in 2006 and he won't be able to do it 4 years later. It might have one or two decent songs on it but there is no way he will make a "new classic."

B-Real released an album on Duck Down too, ya know.

Monch is a beast on the mic, but that does not always translate to a good album. I will check it out though.

the show was good, of course.
but listening to monch in 2010 is like going back in time, and that's not the point anymore, or maybe not for me.
