I copped it. At first I wasn't feeling it really and thought it was a step back from Lord of the Fly. But the it's growing on me the more I listen to it. It feels a bit darker than the first two to me. Definitely good shit though. [/i]

word. I wasn't sure if we could out do Lord Of The Fly in such a short amount of time, but fan response has been really good so far. A lot of people like it more than LoTF...not sure if I do, though.B. Ware tha Siniq wrote:I copped it. At first I wasn't feeling it really and thought it was a step back from Lord of the Fly. Been trying to come to NYC for a little while just hasn't worked out yet. Want to make it a really good show. As for as physical copies, so far we are doing cassettes on this little tape/vinyl label livingtapes.com for FTG and LoTF first and then probably Exalted. Should be out in a few weeks I hope.
That's too cool for me, guess I'll just cop the digital for now. Streamed it earlier today. I think LOTF is definitely the best of the trilogy but this aint no Back to the Future 3 or anything. More like ROTJ. I could see people liking it the most.

Here's my review that went up today- http://thoughtontracks.com/2012/05/30/a ... o-exalted/
It's impossible for me to rank these records, but I feel like Exalted does a great job of combining elements of both albums to create the most well rounded listen. The first album had the most anthems while LOTF was more consistent and eccentric. Exalted wouldn't work as well without the first two as intro's though, they all need to be given the proper attention.

good review. I think I like the eccentricity and just holyfuckthat'soverthetopness of Lord of The Fly both on the beats and the rhymes. I do think this one might be Nacho's best work though. The beats on Lord of the Fly were just so to me. And Exalted is really well produced too, don't get me wrong. Like I said, I just need to spend more time with it. It's not one of those records that just instantly blows my mind, but each time I listen to it I pick up on more stuff. It's a little subtler than the other albums to me.unclebengi wrote:Here's my review that went up today- http://thoughtontracks.com/2012/05/30/a ... o-exalted/
