^^ only made it to the hindu swastika part but that was pretty informational and kewl actually.. i've only checked a few rap genius pages and it's just been like 'cheese= money' .. should have delved deeper if they have shit like shopenhuer on nature of the threat. also i don't get the verifieed accounts do the rappers actually explain their own lyrics i haven't been able to find any like that if they do but that would be cool.

I knew of the site. User created content so it's really hit or miss. I have found some pretty hilarious stuff on there googling lyrics for certain songs.

I read this article http://betabeat.com/2012/10/rap-genius- ... et-talmud/ on the investment the other day and it talks a lot about the founders and how they are basically gigantic douche bags. The site can be fun to play around on but I'm skeptical as hell that it can make real money.

I DID find it hilarious they are planning a legal version and think they could charge law firms for it like westlaw/lexinexis. I have no fucking idea how the "roll over for an explanation" format makes it easier for lawyers to find all the relevant cases on a particular legal issue. The whole thing is backwards, it should be explanations leading to cases not cases leading to explanations. Do they not teach basic legal research at stanford law? Seems like the kid just snorted a fucking 8 ball and thought a law rap genius was the best idea ever.

Cliff notes: Site creators are idiots from wealthy ass families who duped this investor. The end.
