The next Bieber x Eminem or the next Bishop Lamont/Stat Quo/Rakim/Hittman/Sixtoo ?

Bringing nothing new to the table so I guess Dre & Jimmy Iovine see some $$ in a teen white rapper.
The role of DOC in Dre's career is ridiculous though.

I wish Dre didn't get so bored easily. Man has the worst problem with commitments.

He used a "finna". Oh boy.

Probably had to get Apple to sign off on his Dre Beats endorsement contract before they could do anything in the studio.

this is mainly the work of the D.O.C, though.

it isn't like Dr. Dre is even quoted in that article.

for some odd reason, 25 years after he dropped his album, he feels the need to co-sign a Dallas area rapper.

article says that they aren't working on honky's album yet. whatever he does in Dre's studios will be on some songwriting for whatever upcoming Dre project is in the works.

either way, dude is boring.

this belongs in the tin foil hat thread
dre must be harvesting his genetic proteins (i bet he has some sort of necessary mutation).

"come to LA to help dre finish his record" is the music equiv of "get in bro, i totally have all the candy and puppies in this van"

^^those might be detox beats but there's no evidence. dre has tons of beats in the vault. 9 of which he thought were good enough to have rappers do him reference tracks on, none of which are these.

Damn, homie, no Detox.....and no Sixtoo (who had a dope mixtape btw).
Ah well, thanks for the headphones.......

and kids care more about Drake than Dr. Dre right now. For the good doctor to think he can usurp a valuable enough percentage of Drake's fan base with a cute little twink like this is :wtf: til infinity

They aren't that great at all, especially given how much they cost. They do seem to the headphone of choice for the clueless and moronic though so it figures you'd buy into the hype and be wearing them.

Sennheiser >>>>

Yup. Sennheiser for real, and a bunch of other audiophile choices for people who don't want to just be fashionista music fans who love to advertise popular expensive overhyped crap as a sort of sonic upper class status symbol.

I have Dr Dre headphones, and NEVER use them to record music. The off-coloring of mid-range frequency and unnatural bass DISTORTION they apply to the music is gimmicky and a rip-off. Yeah, it sounds "better"... if you are satisfied with ANY type of audio amplification. But it's as corny as a "Bass Boost" button on an old school Sony Walkman.

Dr. Dre and his ponzi schemes. I'll never stop congradulating him for the myriad ways he tricks the populace into believing his hype. He's one of my childhood heroes, but the amount of times he has told and SOLD bold faced lies to hip hop culture cannot be calculated.

c'mon people. dude's name was Six-Two in the Chronic 2001 era, then changed to 6Two, and now Six2 (seriously?) but never as Sixtoo like the Anticon beatmaker.

plus, dude had a CD-R called "Mac-A-Roni and G's" which i now need to attempt to listen to off the strength of such a great album name that Canadians won't understand.

UBER :naswtf:

Sixtoo to me means BUCK 65'S HOMIE FROM THE SEBUTONES DAYS, BRUH. I go back in this shit like a turtling log of poo

long before Anticon was riding dirty while ackin' white and nerdy :smugkid:

that is an awesome title for an album though. Just a few days ago, I made some gourmet mac & white cheddar cheese with veggie ground beef, Szechuan sauce and sweet onions like a REAL OG would. Why would you think I couldn't understand that? I AM THAT
