Pretty dope, I haven't heard the original for this though, so I have nothing to compare it too, but on it's own it's dope. The sample is sick.
I would suggest turning the kick down or turning the snare up some.
That's about the only flaw or word of advice I have, everything else sounds really dope.

Thanks for all the feedback so far, glad it's positive. The drum levels sounds good coming out of my speakers, but I'll turn the kick down a bit since there seems to be a consensus that it's too loud. The majority of the samples come from "Tell Her You Saw Me" by Pat Metheny. For my drums, essentially, I've built up a collection of drum sounds mainly from jazz solos and I'm using a Fruity Loops type program (Doggiebox, for a Mac) to make beats out of them.

this is nice, im liking the subtle guitar that creeps in. the snare sounds really shitty though. the second snare is worse. Maybe it's the levels. it's too quiet. if the drumwork was better this track would be great :-)

Pretty hot. Love the change in mood. But god damn, the chorus is ruined when her singing is in a different key from the music. Shit sounds like a tone deaf bitch auditioning to be a back-up singer.

Otherwise, hot shit. I like how loud the kick is, it helps the remix plod along.
