"Trying to Find Your Palate" lyrics by Godamus Rhyme
(C) 2004 Rhyme Werks (ASCAP)

this is my take on Atmosphere's "Trying to Find a Balance." I did this track as test for my new equipment. As u can hear, the quality is gully. I wish I had had this for the recording of my album. I was so happy with how this turned that I've decided to reinstate plans to do my "Cocky Bastard" mixtape. I had wanted to start this back in december, but decided to kill it cause of quality issues. But now... It's on biyatch!

and just so u all get the hook right in case u cant understand it clearly its:

In the days of Kings and queens, they smoked the best herb/
Had coke for the stars and the rufies for molesters/
I wanna move back and forth in your throat/
I'm tring to find your palate; I'm trying to find your palate//

enjoy.

peace

i mean i can tell youre good on it...but the way slugcommands this track makes yours pail a lil bit.

Also, the chorus is a lil off rhythm. But, I like it more then i dont like it. Thats jsut the criticism that i had.

Word. It doesn't help that like 40%-50% of your rhymes here are just flipping Slug's lines, right down to the intro and outro. Basically, I would advise you to scrap this and write something more original over this beat (which is ill), and if you can't to that, choose another instrumental.
