:naswtf: at the pairing. Obviously you were goin' for two very different groups, but yeah. I'll vote for the group who didn't make that shitty Fire In The Hole album on Babygrande.

I consider that a mixtape or "unofficial" album.

All the real MOP albums, you know the ones where Primo does like half of the production and Laze E Laze, Fame, and DR Period handle the rest... they're dope. Sadat and Jamar are more interesting than Puba at this point to me, but I'd still rather see a new legit MOP album (no G-Unit).

You're right though... I'm not tryin' to knock Nubian. But Warriorz is better than anything they've done in the last 9 years, maybe more.

Can you even name the members of Brand Nubian? Who was their DJ? How many tracks have you ripped in the last year?

Grand Puba, Lord Jamar, Sadat X.

Don't remember their DJ.

No tracks ripped last year, but I didn't check out that Black October album that Sadat put out.

You're more hip-hop than me. Good luck with that.

Both have a classic album under their belt. Prolly two each if you wanna give them "In God We Trust" and "Warriorz." Both fell off a bit. But I went with the Nubians on this one.

Weird pairing but I thought it would be close and so far it is.

also is it just me or has lord jamar always been sort of boring? i mean compared to two really unique voices and styles like grand puba and sadat x, i never really felt the urge to check for any lord jamar stuff. hes had some great lines and stuff but for some reason he just doesnt get me as involved as sadat or grand pu

is that 5% album he put out any good?

Brand Nubian

Alamo was the first DJ and then Sincere, I believe.

But yeah, what was the fourth's name? Wasn't he the only one from Westchester?
