Working on this track to sell to a kid out in AZ. I first made this beat in 2000 or 2001 when i was in college. I recently went back and picked out all my half decent old shit and started slangin it to cats sayin if they liked the samples or keyboard werk I'd go back and revamp the drums, polish the mix, and whatnot and they could buy em at cheaper rates.

I wish I was charging dude more now that I've redone it. It just shows me how much I've improved over the years.

peace

wasn't feeling the original, but the 2008 version is crazy. the drums make a huge difference. bassline is sick.

 great rework

that shit is real sick

I've been contemplating doing something like this. going back to old beats and reworking them. I might do that now. thanks for the inspiration!

I do this all the time, I always end up disappointed.

The remake was good, esp. like the drum roll, you brought the sample out alot better too.

i agree with everyone here. there's a huge difference between the two.

the reverbed snare was a nice touch. i dig the synth work too. good stuff man.
