good ol JR and the king are the goats. they got my vote, they deserve a lifetime achievement award. also WWE should put them back together, they always do this shit though, they seperate them for a few months then do a reunion and everyone rejoices that the OG's are back together.

even if you dont think aikman is the best color guy in NFL I think most people in here would agree that the team of joe buck/aikman deserves to be on this list

no, because joe buck is a terrible football play by play guy.

wow, you might have the worst opinions ever. whoever thought up "there is no such thing as a wrong opinion" never met you.

You'd be the only one voting for Buck and Aikman so what does it matter?

Aikman is not the best by a longshot.

I agree that McCarver is the worst though.

Breen, Jackson, and Van Gundy are the best to me because I'll watch them even if they're broadcasting a sub par game. It's also amazing how few announcing teams can pull off what they pull off because it's not that hard. You only have to do 3 things:

1. Tell us about the game without overemphasizing the obvious.
2. Provide insight and analysis but know when to hold back and don't constantly remind us of things that are not important to the game.
3. Be funny and likable.

Most announcing teams can't even do #1 but Breen, Jackson, and Van Gundy excel in all 3 areas and that's why they're the best.

I find most announcers/analysts useless.

Jeff Van Gundy is good though. He brings insightful commentary and is occasionally funny.

Everyone on the list are great teams except:

Joe Buck and Mccarver are the worst ever, unless maybe if your a Yankeys or Cardnals fan.

Jim Ross is one of the best. I use to love when he did the Stonecold Steve Austin matches.

My vote goes to Musberger and Herstreit.

Wheres Vitale at?
