I had it scored the same. That was a hometown ref but Peterson fought his heart out. That was a great fight and I hope we get to see the rematch. Khan deserved it but you can't be mad at Lamont.

great fight, i had it 113-113. peterson fought well but you have to beat the champ to be the champ, and he just didnt beat him. its a shame it came down to point deductions

Sorry, I forgot about this thread for a while. Yes, I went with two friends. It was the first boxing event I ever attended, paid like 200 bucks, sat one section above the floor, had a great view, saw something like 8 matches... good times.

i would hate to see another pac vs marquez fight.. the first two were good. the third was a snoozer really. and im not a bradley fan...wouldnt care much for that fight either. the only fight people really wanna see is floyd vs pac. and after pacs last fight i doubt he wants any part of floyd.

on the other hand i would love to see an ortiz vs floyd rematch.

wow this is crazy...back on page 13 of this thread i posted a pic of a boxer i talked to in the stands watching the fights...

tonight he's fighting a guy who fought on an undercard bout at that fight

so cool. he was there to scout martinez and i had no idea.

i really fell in love (nh) with steven martinez.

awww martinez lost a split decision for his first L. can't blame the judges; douglin won the last two rounds for sure and atlas said the fight was close throughout.

I couldn't figure out who that was and I guess now I know why. I had never seen him fight before until last night. That was a pretty good fight, and I sided with the judges on that one as well. It was a close fight but I think Douglin edged it with the cleaner boxing.

so the WBA have apparently ordered a rematch between khan and peterson over this "mystery man"

I guess now they're saying this guy is named Mustafa Ameen, and is an IBF official who wasn't the assigned official for the fight that night but still managed to get a credential to be at ringside and then went over and talked to the WBA official illegally or something. Apparently he was in the ring celebrating with team Peterson after the victory as well.

Can't find any good uploads of these on youtube, it looks like HBO is cracking down on it now. Maybe you can find them somewhere not named megaupload. It's too bad too, You should definitely check out Morales Maidana and Berto Ortiz if you can.
