i love how kobe throws dramatic bitch fits every time he gets called for a (bad - on his part, like a dumb foul) foul now because it's hard to accept that he's not the same player defensively and he still thinks of himself as elite when he isn't

having said that, somehow kobe has actually become less hateable (can't even say more likeable cuz i still don't like him) the lsat couple years

 @ Dwight missing 12 free throws. This game would've been over 10 minutes earlier had he made 2 of them.

Nice to see Robert Horry on the Lakers channel as well

He has actually looked very impressive when I see him. I still think it is crazy for you to expect him to get 10 assists and 5 boards a game and huge knee jerk reaction. the avg will keep falling and falling as the year goes on.

You also forgot to include the league leading 4.7 TO a game. He is 51st in Assist/TO ratio. Pretty horrible.

when being compared to Pau Gasol who's a legit 7 foot, he's going to look shorter.

Have you seen that team play? Who the fuck is he supposed to drop dimes to? The Sixers are borderline unwatchable as they wait for Bynum. I understand what you're saying about the Damaja's flaws, but he's not exactly in a situation that would allow any PG to thrive.

Thaddeus Young can ball, mayne. J-Rich is still serviceable. Wright can make an outside shot here or there.

There are teams with worse surrounding pieces.

I love Thad Young. But he's far from an offensive force. And that argument dissolved rapidly. "Serviceable" and hitting shots "here or there" are hardly the types of descriptors you're looking for when discussing the best scorers on the team. I dont hate the 6ers, nor do I think they are one of the worst teams in the league. All I'm sayin is there isn't much there for Holiday to work with, at the moment.

He practically is the only real consistent offense on the team so the TO will continue.

ill. no way. i'm with pb on this one. i already mentioned a week ago or so that jrue is playing at a 5th/6th place mvp level right now. his turnovers are definitely not indicative of some major flaw in his game but has more to do with major flaws in that roster. thaddeus is good for hustle plays, slashing, and cutting - that is 99% of it - he can't shoot consistently and he's not big enough to be a viable post option. j-rich is NOT serviceable. he is awful. wright is also not in an ideal situation like he was in golden state, spotting up for corner and baseline threes in a more spaced out floor, but yea he IS serviceable at least. doug collins is all about simplicity and runs about 12 offensive sets and just hammers them every game. it is predictable - which can be okay if you are working with great players. however, when you're passing to the likes of evan turner and jason richardson, etc., your options are limited. jrue actually has more assists on the table this year that weren't made baskets by open teammates, and the majority of his turnovers can be attributed to forcing the action because his team literally has no other options (and other various things like shot clock running down and of course the occasional mental mistake, which he does make, but he's still young, and everyone makes em anyway)

what you gotta love about jrue is that he is basically rondo with size, less passing skill, but better defense and shooting

when bynum comes back i fully expect jrue's efficiency stats to increase across the board. with hope jrue will get a chance to play with the first superstar-caliber teammate of his career, which bynum could be if healthy but at this point like everyone else i am holding my reservations on dude with the frankenstein haircut

Yea, sadly I have a bunch of times. He has been very impressive. He is the only creator, I won't argue that, but he does have people who will hit open shots which is a lot more then some other pg's can say. He has gotten MUCH better at driving in and kicking out this year. Before he looked for his shot too much instead of looking to create ones for other people. When defenses are collapsing on him he is doing a great job finding the open player on perimeter (which 76ers are built for this). My main point was and still is is that it is unrealistic and knee jerk reaction to expect him to keep up with avg 10 assists and 5 boards a game. Besides Kidd I can't think of any other PG who has put up #s like that in 00s.

I also like Thad Young a lot even though he scores almost all on cuts to the basket, transition, and hustle plays. It might not be the most dependable thing, but it opens up space a LOT for shooters, which 76ers have a lot of.

Not a report., not a credible one. You probably read it on Rotoworld.com and it clearly states its by some Jew doctor who has no knowledge of his records or history, but providing his opinion.
