I was joking, but it's kind of an indictment of the futility of the franchise.
Although it was a win, it pissed me off how the warriors and the refs did their best to blow it.

Word. I'm too jaded at this point to expect anything from this franchise, so I've long since abandoned tying my ability to have fun at a game to whether or not they come away with a win. But in actuality, the way the refs were fucking the Dubs repeatedly made the game much more enjoyable to be at. Shit felt like a riot was going to break out at certain points, and I guess I'm just enough of a knucklehead to enjoy the chaos of that. Plus it was comical how blatantly bad the calls were, which only added to the hysteria. Ultimately though it was a good matchup of two decent teams that have a lot of character. The play was far from spectacular but I'd much rather pay to see a shitshow than a flawlessly executed surgical team like the Spurs grind out a 85-78 win over the Grizzlies or something. Its kind like the difference between going to the theater to watch Rambo or Schindler's List.

I'm so fucking tired of David Stern, he's done more to ruin the league than he has to help it. He's telling one of the all-time greatest coaches how to run his team? What can't he get away with any more? Yeah equality and integrity is what he's all about. Maybe he shouldn't ax deals as the de-facto GM of a worthless franchise or rig lotteries to make sure certain teams get certain players or how about doing something about the worst and most biased officiating in professional sports?
