suarez is easily the dirtiest player around..really hard to understand why he does all that shit...just a retard, i guess..yes, i would love to see him leave liverpool this summer...sad because he'd still be an amazing player if he didn't cheat in an effort "to win"

Yep, I was expecting something similar to yesterday's game, where Barca would nip a couple goals but ultimately come up short.
Nooooope, it was a fucking blood bath out there.

It's on the radio now, he's retiring.
One of the greats, no doubt.
Who's going to replace him? What are the bookies saying?

mourinho 1.73, moyes 2.5
Re: Official European Football 2012 Regular Season Thread
taking day off work. lock myself in dark room and listen to The Cure.
btw, don't see them going for Mourinho. They're looking for another Fergie, not some dude who'll fight with the board & players and then leave after 3 years. Moyes is probably the favourite, but I don't see him as being a progressive tactician. Would love to get Klopp.
If it's Moyes, it should also put an end to those rumors of Ronaldo coming back and will start plenty of Rooney leaving, since he and Moyes allegedly hate each other due to him leaving Everton.

Oh United now gets to join the rest of us. Pep's at Bayern, Mo0 mostly probably is going to Chelsea cause I really don't see United paying 12 million to release him and be able to sign that big player they are threatening to sign.

is klopp that great a manager? thats who i think theyd go for, hes definitely flavor of the month...moyes wouldnt be a bad choice, but yeah i think he'd have to grow into the club, he really has never had the kind of success that is a requirement at man u....im gleeful at the fact that the man u rule over england is basically over no matter who comes in..unless it were a mourinho, someone of that stature, on a long term thing...no chance of any ex players coming in? solskjaer or..neville? lmao or keane or someone?

They're saying its somebody "Cut from same cloth as Busby & Ferguson". Got to be Moyes, hasn't it? As for his tactics, yeah. But a lot of that is dictated by his resources, surely...Req wrote:They're looking for another Fergie, not some dude who'll fight with the board & players and then leave after 3 years. Plus Moyes' contract is supposedly up next month!!

SAF is the greatest manager I've seen in my life. In all sports. Truly the GOAT.
Also,
Adebayor.

so Rooney is pretty much done @United? Lots of rumors that he has asked to leave the club again, and just recently removed "Manchester United Player" from his twitter and replaced it with the phrase "NikeUk Athlete." I don't think he is worth anywhere near the 40m valuation they have on him...PSG? Madrid?

They are obviously among the handful of clubs who have the money, but it's hard to see United handling their business like Arsenal, and selling one of their best players to a domestic side they are in direct competition with every year for at least 4 trophies.
I think if he leaves they sell him to a club not in England.

A little saddened that Moyes is heading to United because I think he's a fantastic manager and a class act which means I won't like having to root against him. I think he's a great fit.

Lets see what Moyes can do with a real budget. I do believe Waza and Moyes detest each other though, so good chance Rooneys playing in Paris next year.
Re: Official European Football 2012 Regular Season Thread
Rooney can kindly fuck off.
if any non-EPL team is stupid enough to offer $30m+ for him, we should bite their hand off and use the money to buy an actual midfielder.

Wigan!
Good for them, you can't say they didn't deserve it. The toe save by Joel was , and saved the game. Mcmannaman was a beast.
Chelsea/Spurs was something of a relief given that Chelsea played better almost the entire game. Adebayor's goal was outstanding. It's going to be close, but Arsenal could definitely blow it. Just kick Walcott in the junk at kickoff and you're likely to get the win. Chelsea have to be through after beating Villa today.
He's a fucking nutcase, but I'd love to see Spurs get Suarez. He's exactly the kind of striker they need, a goal hawking scorer.
