Z-bo, like many before him, don't want it with Duncan.

Re: 2013 NBA Playoffs
so if westbrook still goes down, and if they had Harden(the same player who's a 6th man) can they beat the Heat this year?
fwiw, the raptors draft pick looked at least top-10 for most of the season.
not defending the trade, but would most you guys have kept him into this upcoming offseason and try for a sign and trade or let him walk as a RFA?

Re: 2013 NBA Playoffs
I don't think they beat the Heat and I did think the pick would definitely be a top 10 pick, but I was 100% against that trade and thought they should of kept him or done sign and trade end of this season if they really couldn't afford him.alpha wrote:so if westbrook still goes down, and if they had Harden(the same player who's a 6th man) can they beat the Heat this year?

Re: 2013 NBA Playoffs
Why buy a team in a top 10-15 market if you're going to relocate it to the 35th (or whatever), build a championship core, and then penny pinch when it came time to pay those players? Amnesty Perkins, re-sign Harden, pay the tax. That was the move and they fucked it up. Good times.alpha wrote:so if westbrook still goes down, and if they had Harden(the same player who's a 6th man) can they beat the Heat this year?

blowing your entire salary cap on 4 players is a really good move. whatever, i'll let this issue die.Stoned Starks wrote:Why buy a team in a top 10-15 market if you're going to relocate it to the 35th (or whatever), build a championship core, and then penny pinch when it came time to pay those players? Thunder backlash was bound to happen at some point, just didn't expect it this soon.

Re: 2013 NBA Playoffs
They could of easily kept him for the year and traded him after in s&t. I am sure Houston would still be waiting with open arms since they have tons of cap space.alpha wrote:blowing your entire salary cap on 4 players is a really good move. whatever, i'll let this issue die.Stoned Starks wrote:Why buy a team in a top 10-15 market if you're going to relocate it to the 35th (or whatever), build a championship core, and then penny pinch when it came time to pay those players? *edit*
Also, all max contracts not created equal. Harden can only get the mini one since he is coming off his rookie contract.

There is no one who can contain West right now. I don't think MIA wants to put Lebron on him and let him tire out.

Why put LeBron on him when they can just triple team him with the zebras?naturalborn103 wrote:There is no one who can contain West right now. I don't think MIA wants to put Lebron on him and let him tire out.

Re: 2013 NBA Playoffs
Jarret Jack would be perfect fit for Pacers next year, but they can't afford to lose West.

I'm riding with unclebengi and the Pacers because he's a true fan that doesn't abandon ship because his favorite player retired.
It's fuck Miami on mines too. Fuck all of their pretentiousness, self-serving, faggot ass fans.

I loved Jack in his first stint as a Pacer, like you said though, he'll be too expensive for them. They HAVE to take a pure point who can play D in the first round. They'll also try to reup Paul George even though he has another year left.naturalborn103 wrote:Jarret Jack would be perfect fit for Pacers next year, but they can't afford to lose West.
Breeze- I feel the love. D. West has been waiting for these matchups all playoffs.

Re: 2013 NBA Playoffs
Anyone who doesn't think officiating plays a role in how a game turns out needs to watch the third quarter of this game and then shut the fuck up forever.

I highly doubt he will drop that far, but Schroeder would be perfect for you.unclebengi wrote:I loved Jack in his first stint as a Pacer, like you said though, he'll be too expensive for them.
