Who cares? Levy could hire Hayzoos and he'd be better.

OF COURSE United get the easiest draw and OF COURSE Arsenal get Bayern. I could not be less surprised. The silver lining is they can just worry about winning the Premier League since it's all they'll have left after this.

They're obviously going to be pretty big underdogs, but it wouldn't surprise me if Arsenal escaped that matchup. They're top of the table for a reason.

So humor me. Who are viable candidates to take over?

Would de Boer leave Ajax to come? Is Bielsa a decent candidate?

Spurs need to get someone exotic and new. Someone we haven't even heard of.

No point is scavenging the bin of tried-and-tested failures. Top 4 is out of reach and Levy doesn't care for Europa League anyway - might as well gamble.

Then surely Bielsa is a pretty big gamble. Attacking, attractive football that we "think" we deserve at the Lane.

I am hoping the DeBoer rumors are true. Dude might be getting tired of sending his best players to England and Spain. Plus Vertonghen and Erikkson all ready know how to play under him. Capello seems like a stop gap until the next guy shows up. Laudraup hasn't convinced me of anything yet.

Laudrup is a football genius, take it from someone who has followed him as a player and manager since the 90's.

Spurs should roll out the red carpet and shower him with roses if he decided to take over. Don't think he will though.

Either let Levy do it himself as he clearly wants to, or give Uncle Avram a shout.

Don't know exactly why Capello is the fave since he's in charge of Russia and PSG couldn't afford to buyout his contract. How can Spurs?

Laudrup would be good.

I have an awful feeling its Timmy Sherwood's show.

Did Freund get sacked too, rather him have temporary charge than Sherwood. But we should go all out for Laudrup.

Been gone for a while, but been keeping up with the league.

As much as I love Aguero, Suarez is God. It's been a really interesting season, some highly talented teams, not much would surprise me after the top two spots (Arsenal and City in whichever order). Everton, Newcastle, and Liverpool are all playing really entertaining football right now, I'm looking forward to the end of the season. The January window is looming.

Spurs have been really mismanaged, and the players haven't been able to gel as a result. Anyone can see that having one striker - especially one like Soldado who can't create on his own - was a terrible idea. Just shitty, shitty play in the final third all season long. Glad to see AVB out the door. I'd say get a temp until the end of the season, and pray you can pull things together and make some kind of run. They should then go after a Laudrup or Dimateo in the offseason when you can make a real push. Spurs have shown they're willing to spend money, that should be attractive to a prospective manager.

There's still tons of talent on the team, players like Erickson should really be getting more playing time right now. Paulinho has been playing well. Hopefully Townsend can return to the form he had earlier in the season. Still a long way to go, Spurs aren't dead yet.

The talent is there. The motivation is not. They have been soooo underwhelming all season. It doesn't help that the hype machine was out of control with each new name that came to WHL.

Chiriches has been the best buy of them all. The least celebrated player of the batch.

But look at the talent. You can't tell me Eriksen isn't a fit. You can't tell me Lamela isn't a fit. Something was amiss and clearly AVB lost the players.

Plus his team selections....ugh. How does Townsend not start every fucking weekend? Why is Dembele starting against fucking Anzhi Thursday if AVB is going to play him Sunday? Why is 30 mill Erik Lamela not getting any run in the league? Gylfi has been really good this season but still never plays. Yet Lennon and Chadli (who to be fair, has played decently) constantly get picked.

We don't have a LB. You can't play Jan Vertonghen out there. Its stupid.

How bad is Michael Dawson? I love the guy. He's a great leader. He's Spurs through and through. But he can't play at this level anymore. Which begs the question: Why in the hell did we let Steven Caulker go?

As much as I could care less about Man U and/or Arsenal, Keano and Viera are just so amazing. Both as players and people.

Roy's candidness - about SAF, players of the past, about the Mick McCarthy stuff, everything - just fantastic.

But WTF at any XI between the two clubs NOT having Bergkamp involved in some way? Bergkamp/Le King up front in my book.

his utter refusal to acknowledge the obvious reasoning behind some of those team choices was fucking hilarious.

Players he included:
Stam, Beckham, Ince, RVN - ALL had run ins with Fergie which caused for them to leave the club. I'm surprised he didn't find a way to put Yorke and Kanchelskis there instead of Cantona and Ronaldo.

Players he didn't include:
Neville, Giggs, Scholes, Evra, Vidic - ALL staunch Fergie defenders who've been captains at some point (exception of Scholes). Beckham over Giggs? GTFOH.

not mad at it, still top 5 MUFC player of all time.
