if anyone wants to take a stab with one or more of shields, weaver, wilson and masterson give me a shout. a serviceable position player would do in most cases.

Looking to trade for a closer. Let's talk if you have one you'd like to move.

I'd still take Weaver and Cobb over Verlander.

Would you?

If he has a semi decent September, will you declare for all of PF, Facebook, and everyone in shouting distance that "VERLANDER IS BACK. HE'S STILL A TOP 10 SP"?

so, if i'm a betting man, i'd say hojo dropped mark reynolds and picked up pedro baez, thinking he was actually javier baez, then emailed you and you gave him a mulligan?

it's funny how in the keeper league jr thread, gloss was like "who's getting all the top call ups" but he got every single one in keeperstown lol.

whether or not people bought my bluff, i had every intention of going after the hebrew hammer. 3 of the best September call-ups so far, all off the board for exchange of a #6 waiver pick.

I had no intention on using my waiver on any of those guys. I also had no intention of waking up at 5 in the morning because I don't have a child or work graveyard.

Also, can't call Joc the Hebrew Hammer. That's like Dwight Howard stealing superman. Can't do it.

Yung Joc will have less career WAR than Braun had before his age 29 season. Bet.

The only Jews to ever take roids in baseball would be Ryan and Gabe Kapler. Don't you dare say a bad thing about Al Rosen, Hank Greenberg, Boudreu or any modern day players like Shawn Green, Kinsler or The Youk.

On the list of most highly expected roiders, Shawn Green would be top ten easy

Kinsler is modern roiding. Greenberg was probably using a greenie or two.
