Let's recap the recent covers of various EA Sport games.

Eddie George
Dante Culpepper
Ray Lewis
Donovan McNabb

Fight Night:
Roy Jones Jr.

I think the only one to break the curse was Pujols.

Please add on. And keep in mind I'm really talking about the year they were on the cover, because usually some serious bullshit occurs.

Well, if that's the case I hope 1. the Sox trade Manny, the MVP 06 cover boy, and 2. I hope A-rod gets the 07 cover. Pujols isn't human so curses don't affect him I think, supposedly dude's the same age as me which is fuggin unreal.

George of the 2001 cover and Lewis of the 2005 cover are the only ones not to get injured. Everyone else has.

Carmello Anthony last year. He didnt get injured badly but he took a step back from his rookie season in terms of play.

That was Danny Heatley on NHl 04. He got in a wild car accident and got charged with vehicular man slaughter for the death of the passenger, who was a teamate.
but he's doing awesome now, cleaning up on the Senators.

There was a NBA cover floatin round the internet with Vince Carter down and holding his knee Peter Griffin style.
