Brougham33 wrote:Yesterday was a nice comeback. JD for MVP...stole that base with 2 outs. Rooting for NY hurts....as did that blown save....How the fuck are KC going into Minnesota and winning? I think the Sox have 4 left with the Twins and 3 left with the Tigers.....IS IT UNFATHOMABLE that Detroit could finish 3rd when all is said and done. Aren't they like 7-14 over the last few weeks? Hmmmmm.....
its very unlikely

Detroit plays 6 of final 9 vs KC, and detroit as absolutely destroyed bad teams this year so barring KC winning 5 or something, or Detroit goes 0-MN/Chicago

with MN and Chicago ending the season vs each other doesn't help the keep Detroit out

Detroit
NYY
NYM
are in

Oakland
StLouis
are very likely

the other spots are totally up for grabs

MN not being able to beat the Royals is scary for their future

yeah we should have won this game, but i'm not worried...we can't win them all from here on out. as long as we take 2/3 i'm happy. gonna be an EPIC race to the finish though. man i love baseball.

Even if we do make it....when will we turn the switch on? I still have little hope. We nearly blew game 1....we should have lost game 2....and we blew the game we were supposed to win.....I am not optimistic.

going 1-2 scoring 5runs vs the worst team in baseball, isn't exactly good

though the Royals are on a heater, taking 2 of 3 from the White Sox too

You do understand that games like these happen to all teams in baseball, every year, even the best ones? Because a team loses one game to a team having a bad season, it doesn't mean they've imploded. This isn't football.

Go back to watching football.
yes I know they happen, losing a series at home vs a terrible team is not a good sign

scoring less than 10runs in 6games = bad

today only 2runs a win is great, but 7 of next 9games vs Detroit/Oakland they need to remember how to hit again soon

basically the point is, MN is not playing well and has a very tough race, where losing games to bad teams is only going to make things tougher

okay, time to make your own thread.

White Sox fans, tough loss today. We played very well. Jon G continues to get the job done.

Yeah, shit was painful last night. I thought we had that one nailed down. Was a good game though.

I CANNOT BELIEVE that Tavaraz pitched 7 innings. He is has been an average middle-relief pitcher all year, and he shut y'all down!

Good game though.

Your closer looks like a Dumpling.

With catches like Dye just made, I think Jose will end up on top.

Edit: Give Dye the Gold Glove and the MVP right now.

Yup.

Yesterday felt good. I love those types of games.

I don't feel good about Buehrle facing off against the Tribe. They always tee off on him. Hats for bats.

Jenks' bullshit is the kinda garbage that could have killed the season too.

That was so incredibly huge. Wow.
