Love him. He hits. He can score a little bit. I'd get a clutterbuck jerz.

Heatley is a one trick pony. If he isn't scoring goals, he's virtually useless. As long as he keeps sniping, no one will notice his other flaws. He doesn't work on his game in the offseason and sucks at back checking.

St. Paul, MN - The Minnesota Wild and General Manager Chuck Fletcher announced Wednesday that that forward Eric Nystrom has been traded to the Dallas Stars in exchange for considerations to be named later.

Nystrom, whom the Wild waived last week, had cleared waivers and was expected to join the Houston Aeros for the remainder of the 2011-2012 season. Skating in all
82 games for the Wild last season, the 28-year old attacker posted only 12 points.

Despite only playing one season with the Wild, Nystrom quickly became a fan favorite. Nystrom is currently in the midst of year 2 of a 3-year deal and will also play next season with the Dallas stars.

 and :larry: at Philly fans booing the anti-cancer ad during the game the other night because it had players from the other team in it.

Crosby cleared for contact. No time table on his return. i am guessing if he is okay, that he will be back in November.

Well, when the first words of the ad are "I'm Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins", what do you think is gonna happen? Fans were already booing by the time it was clear that it was a Hockey Fights Cancer promo.

Asham KO on Beagle. Not a fan of the gestures. Especially since this is Beagles 1st regular season NHL fight and Asham is a vet.

Damn he really got him with those two shots. I wonder if the league will fine Asham for the gestures after the fight, especially since Beagle was laid out on the ice for so long after.

Flames picked up their first win last night against Montreal. Miikka Kiprusoff now has the all-time most wins by a Flame goalie ever.

i'm a huge flame hater, but props to kipper for that. too bad they wont make the playoffs again this year.

anyone else think the schedule is totally fucked up so far this year? one game one day, 14 the next, 2 the day after. detroit playing 2 games in 12 days. san jose has only played 2 games so far, including tonight's game.

and an-also, dont be too pround of 'shutting down the canucks' last night. their line-up is soo fucked up right now. when kesler (sooner) and raymond (later) get back then guys will get slotted back to their regular spots. plus the nucks choked away about 4-5 chances that they usually capitalize on.
