I'm 33, and I was 6 when Bo won his Heisman, but I truly do remember it.

If I had to add my 4th and 5th greatest college running back that I've seen with my own eyes, Ricky Williams and Adrian Peterson would be the next up. Peterson got hurt a lot in college, but his freshman season was unbelievable.

The Bo Jackson 30 for 30 was pretty good. Thank god they had all that footage of him beasting on people. I didn't know that the Tampa Bay Bucs had fucked up his college sports career.

I thought Klosterman's contention that he was the last mythic sports figure because of the advent of the internet was well made. Now everyone's accomplishments are on youtube somewhere, and word of mouth stories are greatly reduced.

He definitely had a shot to be the best all-around athlete of all time before that injury. A hall of fame career in MLB and NFL was distinctly possible. I'm glad that he seems to be doing well for himself, I think a lot of people would have spiraled out of control knowing that they would never be great again.

Way too much Klosterman facetime in that bitch.

I thought it was good, but again, didn't delve into anything that most people already knew about Bo. I liked the part where they talked about his cultural impact with the Bo Knows campaign, the shoes, and his dominance in Tecmo Bowl. But more than anything else the doc seemed to serve as a vehicle to dust off the old Bo highlight real, and not that I'm complaining, but it felt more than anything like old sports porn.

I see what you did there.

You're thinking of Herschel Walker.

Apparently there was no mention of Ben having a gun.

Even if Wilson jumped at him, couldn't Moore just fight with his hands?

Moore even had a guy with him,Wilson didn't.

Moore=Coward
pretty much

lol@him managing to fuck up the meaning behind the "don't pull out a gun if you're not willing to use it" adage.

That was the Ben Johnson one right? I think that was the first episode of the most recent season, which I imagine hasn't been released yet. That's pure speculation tho.

The short film about the Honus Wagner baseball card is worth watching. It's on the 30 for 30 website, and is pretty much a must watch for anyone who ever collected baseball cards.

Finally got a chance to watch last night, I agree.
Love the way that it was all but confirmed that Ben Johnson did in fact have his beer spiked.
That shit was type crazy. Who the fuck says "maybe I did, maybe I didnt" 20 damn years later if they DIDNT do something. Im amazed at how people can be so coy about shit like this.

HGH made things like skull and teeth begin to grow, as they did athletes would need braces to get their teeth back in line.

Yeah, this one is great too. Really shines a light on a team that doesn't get much traction because of the era they played in. Laimbeer is an asshole, but undoubtedly a clever one. Any basketball fans of that era should watch it, you won't be disappointed.
