Pretty amazing thing to witness. Definitely surpasses Schilling as the best performance I've see in the post season. Pure dominance.

Have to say, Royals should be back next year as long their hitters keep it up

No they won't. They overachieved and will be losing Shields. I doubt they even make playoffs next year.

Congrats though guys.

Yeah this was one of those magical runs where an alright team gets hot at the right time and overachieves.

Anyway, are we going to talk about Panting Chevy Guy presenting MadBum the MVP trophy?

PB & Alpha are going to be hella mad at you for shitting on their parade yo.
As far as whether they are a "dynasty"....well yes and no.
3 ships in 5 years means that they are going to be labeled as one no matter what. Its an incredible accomplishment. But definitely the product of a great manager and getting hot at the right time and also always playing in a weak division. One of the best playoff teams we've seen. But I'm not comfortable calling them a dynasty either.

Dynasty to me means best team in baseball for a long time. I don't think you could ever say the Giants were actually the best team in baseball at any point in the past 5 years.
Never had a top 3 win total in baseball. 6 other teams had more wins over the last five years. The Cincinatti Reds only had 3 less wins than the Giants in that stretch.
The 90's Braves were a dynasty. The Yankees of the 00's were a dynasty.

I long for the days when we would see 3 legit SPs in a series. Not just one guy who gets the ball every time they get scared. stretching out these games really makes it lose its luster
