I guess I'm numb to Wentz because I'm actually more surprised with how great our D looks. Jim Schwartz is really a difference maker.

Wentz is that dude, just remarkable the control he already has out there. Coming from NDSU it's one of the craziest stories I ever remember seeing. The Eagles have a top 5 D and they are legit contenders at this point.

They're 3-0, they've scored 29+ in every game, and Wentz has controlled each game as far as pace and flow. They just beat one of everyone's favorite 2-0 "contenders" 34-3. What more do they have to show you for you to think they're legit? Victories over the Browns and Bears may not look impressive on paper, but they looked damn impressive on the field and Wentz is only going to get better. He's not being managed like Dak, he's running the show.

I am more interested in watching how he reacts once defenses scheme what he's shown on tape. The bears and browns won't combine to win 3 games but the Pittsburgh game? The Steelers virtually imploded and handed the game to them. Phillys defense is jumping out but calling them contenders seems excessive, but maybe not. They may contend for a division title in a very weak division.

But yeah....go eagles

I've been watching NDSU do this for the last 10 years so I'm not that surprised

Stuff changes a lot in one week and I hear you, which is why I said they're contenders "at this point". It's how Wentz is orchestrating things that makes me a believer, speed of the game doesn't seem to be an issue for him at all. He changes protections, moves well in the pocket, moves well out of the pocket, has a cannon, and doesn't take unnecessary risks. I've never seen a QB play so well his first 3 games.

Next 3 games are
at Detroit
At Wash
Vikings at home.

6-0?

PFF has him ranked as the best rookie QB in last 11 years. Can't argue with that

I ain't gonna trip up and give him a win over your Vikes Kel, they look like the 2nd best team in the league right now. Broncos QB put up a heck of a stat line yesterday, but I didn't see that game. If he's #good Denver is right there too.

What if the Vikings and eagles are undefeated week 6? Wentz & Bradford lead a couple of 5-0 squads. Who could have predicted that?

The difference is Wentz is leading the Eagles, where as I don't think anyone believes Bradford and his 2 games played is leading the Vikes. The man had 171 yards w/1 TD yesterday no less.

Cam Newton was pretty incredible as a rookie. Wentz is doing great in the pre snap side of things for a rookie. But i'll reserve judgement on how good he's going to be for a few more games.

I hope we don't have to endure any more Bears games in prime time.

Lol. Never thought I'd be wishing the niners were better. They're the only afternoon game my way. Guess it'll be nap time or 2k time.

There's been a lot of sharp movement on the 9'ers in this game, I wouldn't be shocked at all if they won this one.
