Sickest white NBA players ever?

Me and my friends were getting drunk off that Saint arnolds and were talking bout the coldest white players. I know im gonna miss some names but it's for debate.

Some names immediately came to mind

John havlicek--probably the best white defender ever. How they overlooked him in college is beyond me.

Kevin mchale-incredible footwork like Olajuwon.

Larry bird-one of the best shooters and underrated passers ever.

Rex chapmen-seems like he hit 30 foot fade aways with ease. reminds me of vernon maxwell where he hit difficult shots easier then regular ones.

Jason williams--unless u been living under a rock for the past decade he's one of the flashiest fun to watch players ever. Especially when he was in Sacamento Kings who will be moving to Anaheim soon. Thanks maloofs.

Pistol pete maravich--r.i.p. incredible point guard who got cut too short in his career.

Jerry west-some of the best fundamentals the league has seen. It's a reason he's on the logo.

Drazen petrovic--dude was one of the sickest ever. I think they got a statue of him in his respective country. Also would curse out players in different languages when he shittalked.

Detlempf shrempf--was a dope ass player when he was with Shawn reignman Kemp and The glove payton. Versatile and foreighn.

Tony kukoc--same as schrempf

Dirk nowitski--nobody's gonna block that fadeaway. He's 7 foot stop trying.

Bob cousy--ancient but still is virtually any white point guard sans steve nash and jason kidd in what he accomplished.

Steve nash--i'm not really a fan. He doesn't play enough defensefor my taste but it fits the suns run and gun style.

John stockton--he played like a surgeon and was dirty. Tapping people while shooting is dirty. Elbows around picks back then when the nba was damn near the nfl dirty. Still an incredible point guard and consistent.

Jeff hornacek--like i said in another thread was one of those players who used everything he had to prosper. One of the greatest mid range games ever.

Chris mullin--a polarizing hall of fame candidate. Some folks think he should have gone some dont whatever. Still a great player and one of the smoothest strokes ever.

Rick barry--great player. I'd put him in my top 10 small forwards ever with Scottie pippen and Larry bird and eventually Lebron James. Sons were pretty good too. Jon talked alot of shit and Brent hit threes.

Mark price--underrated. Shame he played with Daughterty and other scrubs. For a 5 year stretch in the 80's one of the best point guards in the league.

then the ones who werent the best be exceled at what they did

Steve kerr--shooting
Tom chambers--scoring
Bill laimbeer--defense and rebounding. As much as i hated the Bad boys defeating my Bulls two years in a row.
Mark eaton--can't believe he was an auto-mechanic before he went to the nba.

bill walton--as much of a old deadhead hippie wishy washy annoucner he is he was great in college and decent in the pros.
Phil jackson, Chuck daly, Red auerbach, rick adelman, pat riley, and rudy tomjonavich--coaching

vlade divac--flopping...lol and he was a pretty good center.
Rik smits and Arvdyous sabonis were alright too.

I think you covered most of them.

Dan Majerle is a glaring omission, yo imho.

Kelly Tripucka
Dave Twardzik
Kurt Rambis

Not that these guys are the best whiteys, but should be included in a deep "best of" list, imo.

This was way more entertaining than it actually had any right to be.

And blessing, lil threading tip, its more fun for the rest of us if you don't name every available option in the initial post.

Speaking of both this game and white players , my favorite shit back in the day used to be playing with the celtics in this game and killing people with Dino Radja. i don't know why, but he was amazing in that game. I had multiple 50 point games with him. Dana Barros as well but that was all 3's.

Wish I coulda saw more of Sabonis before the slow, bad knees version the Blazers got. Even still I was a fan. Centers who pass like Harlem Globetrotters but look like Fred Flintstone are entertaining to me.
