Report: Shaquille OגNeal to work for Turner BroadcastingThe hottest made-for-TV free agent to hit the open market since Charles Barkley retired in 2000 has apparently hooked up with his new team. The recently retired Shaquille O'Neal(notes), according to CNBC's Darren Rovell, will be working for Turner Broadcasting; likely sitting across the table from Sir Charles on TNT's Inside the NBA set.

Barkley and Shaq. I have no idea how this will work out but it has potential to be comedy central.

how sad is it that those doods are the only thing i miss about watching basketball.

eeehh....trying not to overreacting here...last year's playoffs was one of the best in recent memory, if you didn't get caught up in that than maybe the NBA is not for you.

last year was one of the best seasons since Jordan retired. if you are a basketball fan and didn't enjoy the last season, you don't have a soul.

i feel like shaq and barkley are superfluous. i'm sure they'll make it work though. i'm going to miss C-Webb. He's really great.

Are they letting C-webb go? I haven't read that anywhere. I'm sure the regulars will be EJ, Kenny and Chuck like it always was with Webber and Shaq alternating. Thats how they did it with CWebb and McHale.

As funny as shaq is, Barkley is still funnier and I want to see how this will work out chemistry wise.

I think it will work because Shaq and barkley are funny in different ways. Shaq is goofier and Barkley is more of an asshole. How can that not work?

this is terrible. or turrible however you want to say it. C-Webb was the balance. Now it will just be Chuck and Shaq mumbling and jumbling.

i think shaq is every bit the asshole as barkley is.
