You must keep 11. There is no benefit in keeping less than 11.

I need SP too. And a shortstop.
Willing to move Cano, Bautista or Adam Jones. Would discuss others as well.

My team still sucks but I think I had a decent draft. If it turns out even a fraction as well as my draft last year (when I picked up 5 of my keepers in Kyle Seager, Trea Turner, Wil Myers, Kevin Gausman & Aaron Nola), I'll be thrilled.

I don’t like my team much. I just can’t find a good rhythm of players in this league the past few years. It has a good mix of old/young players but still lacking a lot. Figures Ian Desmond starts the year on the DL. I was expecting good things of him in Colorado as my 3rd OF.

C – Wellington Castillo
1B – Miguel Cabrera
2B – Dustin Pedroia
3B – Maikel Franco
SS – Dansby Swanson
OF – Khris Davis
OF - Mark Trumbo
OF – Ian Desmond
DH – Hanley Ramierz

BN – Jose Reyes, Howie Kendrick, Jarrod Dyson, Jacoby Ellsbury, Greg Bird, Matt Wieters

SP – Stephen Strasburg
SP – Cole Hamels
SP – Kenta Maeda
SP – Rick Porcello
RP – Blake Treinen
RP – Jeanmar Gomez
RP – Ryan Madson
P – Lucas Giolito, Ian Kennedy, Zach Wheeler

Guys,

Wanted to give you a 2 month heads up. Effective next season this league as it is will be retired. I do not have the patience, time, and interest for these roto leagues any more.

There is a head to head baseball scoring format that is fun and competitive. I would like to setup a keeper league from scratch next season and adapt to this new scoring format.

I hope you'll be interested to join and adapt to the new league. As a commissioner who delivered a great league for 10 years here, I promise to do the same with our new beginnings.

I'll be keeping an eye on trades up until the deadline. If it is lopsided or unfair then they will be veto'd.

Hope you all understand and want change as well.

Commish

i was never a big roto guy anyway. it's more realistic to battle one team and see who is better.

a great example is the phila "elite" league. I spent most of my budget (120.00 on a 250.00 budget) on craig kimbrell because of a bidding error. Now I'm the best team in the league and I did it all with waiver wire swoops and savvy managing.

that's why fantasy is cool. I basically conceded half my money and I'm still dominating the league
