Anyone ever get cards graded?

Post by Random Sample »

If so how much does it cost, and who should I get to do it?

It usually cost $10 a card and Beckett's the most official place to get them graded. You should carefully look over any card before you submit it though, because unless it's in perfect condition you don't want to send it in and get stuck with anything less than a 9 out of 10. Anything less and it'll just be worth as much as a card that hasn't been graded.

All the time.

There are only two respectable grading companies out there. BGS and PSA. BGS is Beckett, but don't fall for that BCCG crap (see my Eddie Murray).

BGS prices vary but can get a listing on Beckett.com. If you order Beckett Baseball they give you 2 free BGS coupons. Usually they have a 10-10-10 deal every month. 10 cards, 10 day turnaround, $10 each.

PSA you HAVE to buy a membership for in order to grade. I believe its $99 and you get 6 free grades. They have specials too but figure you're gonna pay around $10 per card on the average.

I usually deal with BGS because I have an account established and they're pretty reasonable.

BGS grades are stricter. They sell a bit higher but not much higher these days than PSA.

What Ice said is true, don't grade a card that you think won't grade high cuz it'll ruin its value believe it or not. If you want a BGS case you can buy that without the grade too.

If you want any help with this, email me cuz I'm a pro at this shit. Goodluck!

I finally got my Sidney Crosby rookie in the mail from upper deck. I looked at it once, and I would like to get it graded. It is straight from the factory. I saw one one eBay going for shitload, so i just thought I might as well get it graded for a few bucks.

If you're just grading one card, do BGS. Go to www.beckett.com and print out the Grading order form.

Which UD Crosby card is it? He had a few RC. Do a few eBAY searches to see what they go for. I only got a few hockey graded cards and just one in the showcase. I want a Crosby

Here is the one that I am going to get graded:

It is at 242.00 and it isn't even graded. It was part of a set that ou could only get with a redemption card from a pack.

I might get more done though. I am going to have to look through my collection. I got a favre rookie that is mint that I might get done also.

Yeah Phila's card collection has always been impressive and Godly. Even moreso because he has them graded which is key.

Do you have th 1984 Clemens card or 84-85 Michael Jordan Star Card?

Thanks, but I wish I had the Star Jordan RC. I'm trying to get a Wilkins but it may take a few years. I got a few Clemens RC too, but not the Fleer Update you're talking about. Both amazing cards.

RS, that Crosby card will buy you a few pairs of Jordans homie, Nice add.
