phila a few questions:

is he hittin any of the high notes these days?

about how many songs did he play?

which song gets the biggest reaction from the crowd?

did he play any of his classical stuff?

is his original band playing with him?

Thank god this wasn't thread about Gwen Stefani, I was hoping you were a better human than that.

I was afraid after his SB performance that he wouldn't sound as good as I had hoped. I was wrong, the man sounds fine. In fact there were times where I couldn't tell the vocals apart from his live performance to his recorded material.

I'd say he did about 25 songs, maybe more. He was not in a rush to leave and maybe that has to do with the fact he lives in Miami these days.

Concert started 8:45 and ended right around 11:00. That's pretty damn long for a solo act, especially a man his age.

He started out doing all his older stuff from albums in sequence then bounced around, the only "newer" tracks he did were his 90's "We Didn't Start The Fire" and that "Lion King" track that I can't recall the name.

The rest was shit like "Allentown," "Piano Man" "Scenes from An Italian Rest." "Moving Out." Really all his classics and I mean all, minus "Just The Way You Are."

And no original band. They were pretty good, but they all looked like in their late 30's.
