A excellent Jazz album. On the MPS label. Really fucking dope if you ask me. One of my new favorite jazz albums. A bit bluesy and funky. Lots of vibes and rhodes. Good shit.

thanks but this one is good for now, maybe a little down the line. i'm trying to really give a through audience to everything i dl these day, as opposed to just grabbing anything that looks interesting and having it just sit on my harddrive

For the hip hop heads-
The intro on the first song[the one with a zshare link in RBG's 1st post]from the Michael Naura album is the sample used for probably my favorite Heltah Skeltah track-Understand.

There was soooo many ghey looking covers back then, though.
Especially with the clothes and just the man hugging man hippy happiness.

There's many, many much better examples than this one.
Matter fact, this is a great album. I think I'll post that soon.

really, you liked that? imo thats a weak albim. i love flute playing on funk/jazz stuff but the only good Herbie Mann record i know is MEmphis Underground. wich is great. i have a few of his records but theyre all pretty weak to me.
