As a general vocalist, I would say Ronnie in his prime was better than Ozzie in his, but I think Dio is the best ever. Ozzie in Sabbath > Dio in Sabbath though.Y@k Bollocks wrote:Ronnie Dio claims he was actually a better frontman than Ozzy. That whole fucking album is hot fire.
Ozzy spits fire, for real. The ignorance, on my part, is that i dont even know if Ozzy wrote most of the shit or if the lyrics were just a colaborative effort of the band or what.
But Iron Man sits in my heart more than most, not even for specific reasons, i have just been drawn to it since I was a child of single digit ages. When i was young, it was most likely the hypnotic melody of the guitar but as i am older it is so much more.

I've been listening to Sabbath a lot recently, but I have to say that Ozzy's voice annoys me like hell. Not that Dio is my kind of singer. I actually refer the much-hated Ian Gillen album. Too often there's a great opening and then Ozzy's retarded monkey drone comes on and I remember that this band was never perfect.
When we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality -- judiciously, as you will -- we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.

People think Ozzy's voice is wack or Robert Plan's is wack. What's next, Danzig's voice is wack?
If you were beefing about Geddy Lee, I'd get it, he's not for everyone. But Ozzy and Plant? Two of the best that done did it.

This song always reminds me of those old atmosphere shows now, with all the little white minneapolis hip hop kids moshing.
