Great stuff Jaz. Did you ever hear the 'Brown Sugar' remix they did for D'Angelo? One of so many incredible remixes.

yes, yes very good my son, I looked hard for that remix and I actually have it on a 12" inch, but all of my vinyl is with a friend.

Love the G Rap verse as well.

I saw Evil Dee spin when I was in NYC and asked him specifically about this tune. He said there were only about 500 copies pressed, and if I remember rightly, he said it had a brown sticker. He also said about how he'd tried to give the song a slower feel by placing the sample just after the the beginning of each bar, and when you listen to the track again you can hear exactly what he means.

Since Brown Sugar is one of my fav. non-rap albums this is really a blessing for me.
